About Us

Reliant Engineering is a C Corporation registered with the North Carolina Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors.
Reliant Engineering, PA was originally founded October 17, 1997 in Charlotte, North Carolina with initial focus on boiler operator certification (stationary engineering) training programs. The new focus is business process improvement through training and development to include training program design, technical documentation, instruction, graphics design, and forensic engineering with follow-up training.

Founder

Rita M. DeHart, PE, MBA
Ms. DeHart has worked in the power plant industry since 1977, and as a power plant technical trainer since 1988. Ms. DeHart's background include the positions of power plant operator, performance results technician, training manager, and expert witness. Ms. DeHart holds a Professional Engineer license in mechanical engineering, and a Master's Degree in Business Administration from Queens University of Charlotte.
